Surroundings Zillertal

Zillertal is a beautiful idyllic valley in Austria. All seasons have their charm here. In summer you can go hiking, fishing, mountain biking, trail running, golfing, paragliding, skiing/snowboarding, climbing, swimming and tobogganing. The Hintertuxer-Gletscher is open 365 days of the year. The area is very focused on children and for them there is plenty of fun to do. In winter Zillertal3000 is a large ski area with over 200km of slopes. Visit a Christmas market in Mayrhofen or come down with a sled in Tux, on one of the toboggan runs. Touring skiing, ice skating, swimming and hiking are also definitely active options in winter.
